Over the rocks and through the woods to Janesville’s gem we go to the 2nd annual Arbor Ridge Trail Race, sponsored by the neighboring and picturesque Arbor Ridge community. This race follows Wisconsin’s iconic Ice Age Trail through the secluded and serene Robert O. Cook Memorial Arboretum.
Reap the returns of racing a 5k, 8k or 16k route through heavily-shaded forest, over roots and rocks, around a flowering meadow, and across a meandering stream. The mostly single-track Arbor Ridge Trail offers some challenging climbs and equally rewarding downhills. We are also tossing in a free 1K fun run for the kids and a portion of race proceeds will go to the Ice Age Trail Alliance.
This winter we are busy securing permits and sponsors for our summer trail racing series. We hope to unveil Arbor Rock Running’s newest Wisconsin trail races soon!
Expect new trails, a variety of distances, ongoing training, great community, and invigorating races like the established Arbor Ridge Trail Race.
Coming Summer 2019!
