Ice Age Trail
Over the rocks and through the woods to Janesville’s gem we go to the 2nd annual Arbor Ridge Trail Race (ARTR), sponsored by the neighboring and picturesque Arbor Ridge community. This race follows Wisconsin’s iconic Ice Age Trail through the secluded and serene Robert O. Cook Memorial Arboretum.
Reap the returns of racing a 5k, 8k or 16k route through heavily-shaded forest, over roots and rocks, around a flowering meadow, and along and through a meandering stream. The mostly single-track ARTR offers some challenging climbs and equally rewarding downhills. We are also tossing in a free 1K fun run for the kids and a portion of race proceeds will go to the Ice Age Trail Alliance.
